As a woman with ambitions to run her own business in the near future I've challenged myself to understand what it takes to be an entrepreneur; whether you own a market stall or head a global corporation!

We all need a few tips and tricks from the ground up and I'll be sharing bites of motivation and information which will hopefully put some pep in your well-heeled step!

Before we begin, wherever you are in life, start that thing that you've always wanted to do...now. Right now. Do it, I say! Don't wait until you know who you are to get started.

As perfectly stated by Austin Kleon in 'Steal like an Artist', those words are the driving force for Kwakyewa. This blog is many years overdue thanks to the usual excuses we give ourselves to avoid doing something...even if we really want to (which I'll delve more into in another post). But no more! if you are waiting to 'find yourself' or 'mature into that person' or even 'gain more experience'. Stop waiting. Nothing else is waiting...the clocks still tick and the fish still swim (random).

So before you do find 'who you are' and it stops you in your tracks, put on some lipstick, grab a bag and let get started!

Oh and by the way 'Kwakyewa' means 'A thing of Beauty' in the Akan language of Ghana.
